D.I.Y. Dock Steps

3 milk crates + 2 pieces of 3/4″ Plywood + 2 cans of Spray Primer = $8.29

Call me crazy, but I’m not about to spend $100 or more for a set of vacuum formed fiberglass dock steps. In fact, I don’t even want to spend $10. Add to that my practical laziness, and subtract the long hours I’m NOT willing to invest in building dock furniture – I came to a simple, cheap solution – Milk Crates! Screw them together and add some plywood steps and paint – voila! I added a few strips of skateboard grip tape we had @ the shop. Tell everyone on the gangway it’s Reclaimed Rattan!

Sure, the yacht club cronies may point at and deride the testament to your frugal ingenuity, but you can dry your eyes with the $92 you just saved.
